Hanoi Flights

Hanoi airport serve all flights that arrive in capital of Vietnam. But airport Noi Bai (HAN) isn’t the busiest airport of the country. In Hanoi airport you can apply for Visa on arrival. It has domestic terminal for internal flights and international terminal that serve flights from Australia, Canada, USA, Europe and Asian countries. Hanoi connected almost with all Vietnam airports. Hanoi airport is not very big and for sure you wouldn’t get lost. Anyway is recommended to come in airport 2 hours before departure. Airport is located about 45 km far from the city. To get from airport to the center of Hanoi is very easy, you even can don’t spend money for taxi and just take minibus near exit from departure area. Only say driver word “center” and he’ll show you necessary minibus. Ticket will cost about 2$ and minibus start after become full. Last stop will be not far from Hoan Kiem Lake. If you want to start extra, travel directly after airport you can take bus to center. From departure exit turn right and go till you pass bus parking and there ask collective bus. Backpacker’s center of Hanoi located around Hoan Kiem Lake. Here you can find a lot of guest houses, hotels, cafes, shops, currency exchanges, bikes for rent. Prices for room start from 10$. Also if you are going to travel around the country in Hanoi is very easy to buy motorbike. From Hanoi you can start travel to Ho Chi Minh or Sapa mountains. Also 150 km on north from Hanoi is located well know beautiful Ha Long Bay. There is wonderful nature, but if you will have opportunity better go some islands, for example Cat Ba Island. Islands are very green, big rocks grow up from the sea and water has magic emerald color.

Hanoi is legendary city, it’s formal capital of North Vietnam. Exactly here is located mausoleum of great Ho Chi Minh. And generally Hanoi has more warmer atmosphere, more original people than Ho Chi Minh city that influenced much more with European wind. In Hanoi you can visit some museums, pagodas, historical monuments, you can walk in park or visit most picturesque West Lake.
